Trapping phascogales in Bendigo

I was kindly recruited to participate by Bendigo Field Naturalists and Southern Cross University on the weekend to do some work capturing and weighing phascogales. I also managed to get a very large bite by a big male which was excruciatingly painful. This picture shows a female which was patient enough for a photograph while I handled her with my other hand.
